CSD is proud and honored to announce that Coyote Canyon Elementary School has received the renowned recognition of a 2020 California Distinguished School and has been nominated by the state to be a National Blue Ribbon School. These honors recognize the dedicated work of our Coyote Canyon staff in improving academic performance and closing the achievement gap. This award puts Coyote Canyon in the top 5% of elementary schools in the state of California. Additionally, the Blue Ribbon School nomination is even more prestigious, with only 35 out of nearly 6,000 schools across the state representing California at the national level.
