VENDOR FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Any vendor who wishes to do business with the District should send a letter or email to the Purchasing Department stating the type of products or services offered to:

When the District is in need of the type of product or service, the vendor will be contacted. Vendor lists are maintained only for those products and services the District regularly requires. Any vendor who fails to respond to numerous bid invitations or price requests may be removed from the vendor list.

CUPCCAA CONTRACTORS - PUBLIC WORKS & MAINTENANCE

Central School District has elected to become subject to the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting procedures. The District is inviting all licensed contractors to submit information for inclusion the DISTRICT’S list of qualified bidders for the 2021 calendar year.

2021 Qualified CUPCCAA Bidder's List

  • As of March 1, 2015 all contractors and subcontractors bidding on a public works project must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5, http://www.dir.ca.gov/Public-Works/Public Works.html. The District will not consider any Contractors who are not licensed to do business in the State of California, in accordance with the California Public Contract Code, providing for the licensing of Contractors

  • The District may create a new contractors list effective January 1st of each year and may include any contractor’s name it desires on the contractors list but must include, at a minimum, all contractors who have properly provided the District with the required information, either during the calendar year in which the list is valid or during November or December of the prior year.

  • The District has the right to verify all information to it by all contractors or sub-contractors bidding. The District reserves the right to sole and exclusive judgment in the determination of the qualifications of the contractors.

PREQUALIFICATION LIST

For a Public project that involves a projected expenditure of one million dollars ($1,000,000) or more, the District reserves the right to request, receive, and evaluate supplemental information at its sole discretion.
