DISTRICT ADVISORY COMMITTEE (DAC)

The Central School District Advisory Committee is comprised of parent representatives from either School Site Councils, Gifted and Talented (GATE) Parent Advisory Committee, English Language Learner (ELAC) Committees from each school site and District Administrators.  The DAC meets three times a year to receive updates regarding the local control accountability plan and other pertinent information regarding Central School District.  The committee is also the body which works as a liaison to the school community.  Parents are invited to share ideas with District Administration which assists in future strategic planning.  DAC will be meeting in the Central School District Community Room or Zoom as indicated on the agenda.

District English Language Advisory Committee (DELAC)

The DELAC is a committee comprised a representative of the English Language Advisory Committee (ELAC) from each school site.  The DELAC meets three times a year to receive information pertinent to the English Learner community such as ELPAC testing results, Redesignation of English Learners, parent education, Title III Plan, Local Control Accountability Plan, and other items that affect English learner students.  DELAC will be meeting in the Central School District Community Room or Zoom as indicated on the agenda.

District Gifted and Talented Education Committee (GATE)

The GATE Parent Advisory Committee is made up of parents, district personnel and community members.  The committee meets three times a year and serves as an oversight committee for the District GATE Plan and as well as providing the forum for sharing of ideas regarding GATE students in Central School District.  GATE will be meeting in the Central School District Community Room or Zoom as indicated on the agenda.

Special Education Advisory Council(SEAC)

The Special Education Advisory Council (SEAC) is group of Special Education parents and staff that meet 3-4 times a year for the purpose of educating our families and improving the Special Education processes and services within Central School District.   Our meetings include presentations on current topics and time to provide invaluable input on the needs of our students and their families. Dates, times and presentation topics are communicated through Blackboard Connect calls and emails and are posted on the District Website regularly.   All are welcome to join us!
