Teen Central

We understand that our middle school students benefit from quality, engaging activities in a safe and supervised environment. Teen Central is a before and after school program offered at both Ruth Musser Middle School and Cucamonga Middle School. Teen Central is open Monday through Friday, 6:30am to 6:00pm. Students are offered homework assistance, age appropriate enrichment activities, and an afternoon snack. Tuition rates are the sam2 Columnse as they are for our elementary sites.

After School Hours

Kid Central provides care for students from the end of their school day until 6:00pm. After school programming includes a nutritious snack, homework assistance, and enrichment activities including art, science and more. There is also plenty of time for supervised recess and free play.

Before School Hours

Kid Central provides morning care for students from 6:30am until the start of their school day. Students who participate in the school breakfast program are offered an opportunity to eat breakfast during program hours. Staff provides a safe and structured environment where students participate in age appropriate activities including directed lessons and free play. Students are dismissed to their classroom teachers a few minutes before the start of the school day ensuring a safe transition from home to school.

Safety Procedures And Precautions

Due to the fluidity of the guidance and regulations that our child care program must abide by, in order to operate, Kid/Teen Central will be regularly communicating any changes in policies and procedures to our families. We are currently awaiting revised guidance from the appropriate agencies for the 2021-2022 school year. Once that guidance has been received and the appropriate procedures have been established, we will be communicating the expectations for our students, staff, and families prior to the first day of child care.
