The Food Services Department at Central School District is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals who support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness. All meals served at our school cafés meet state and federal dietary guidelines and provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet their health and nutrition needs. Our school menus are kicking it up a notch with even more tasty selections of wholesome entrees, fresh fruit, and colorful vegetables.
Central School District Food Service operations are administered through the United States Department of Agriculture, the California Department of Education, and the Board of Trustees. The Governing Board recognizes that students need adequate, nourishing food in order to grow, learn, and maintain good health.
