Grizzlies showed their school pride today while participating in our "Farewell to Summer" Spirit Day. Sunglasses, flip flops, and even some pool floaties were seen in Zoomland today!

Our next Materials Distribution Day will be this Wednesday, September 30th, at the following times: 1st and 2nd Grades (9am-10am), 3rd Grade (10am-11am), 4th Grade (11am-12pm), 5th Grade (12:30pm-1:30pm), TK/Kindergarten (2pm-3pm). Learners should log out of their Zoom sessions during their designated grade level pick-up time and head to school for their next set of materials. This pick-up time will be counted as a part of their school day. If you have more than one Grizzly at Bear Gulch, you may pick up all materials at one time. Grizzlies are expected to be back in Zoom class with their teachers by the end of their designated pick-up time. Teachers will provide families more detailed information regarding their specific materials distribution schedule. We look forward to seeing everyone this Wednesday! Bear Gulch 4th graders learned about what it is like to work at the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center in a Zoom conversation with Test Engineer, Colton Caviglia. They learned some very interesting facts about NASA and what it is like to live in space.

Our Learner Trait focus for the remainder of this month is Perseverance. This is something we all need at this time! Our kindergarten Grizzlies made bears to show that they have perseverance in all that they do.

Our Library is now open for book check-out! We have set up an online form so that your child can check out up to four books from our library for a two-week period. Books selected by noon on the Monday before a Wednesday Distribution Day will be included in your child's materials when you pick them up on Wednesdays. Go to our school's website and click on the Parents tab, select "Library", and scroll to Bear Gulch Library - Destiny Quest or click this link: https://search.follettsoftware.com/metasearch/ui/29234
Your child can search for the books they would like to check-out and then add the titles to the form below. Books are due back on the next Distribution Day so that new ones can be checked-out.
