Doña students are getting to see the wonder of nature up close with baby birds hatching on campus!. They are also learning what camoflage means. Look closely. Can you find both the mommy and daddy birds, as well as the babies?

We are excited to share with our families that our new superintendent, Dr. Amy Nguyen-Hernandez, has been appointed by the Central School District Board of Education. Dr. Nguyen-Hernandez comes to CSD with a wide range of experiences in education over the last 25 years. We appreciate our community's input in the superintendent search process and look forward to officially welcoming Dr. Nguyen-Hernandez to the district on July 1st following Superintendent Libutti's retirement. Here's one last shout out to Eagle Scout, Matthew Antill, a former Doña student, who completed his Eagle Scout Project at our school. Hours and hours were spent planning, preparing, organizing, supervising a team, fundraising and finishing a magnificent U.S. map underneath the play shelter in back of the school. The extra funds raised were donated back to the school. Thank you and congratulations, Matt!

Doña kinder students are practicing eye-hand coordination for PE with Mrs. Copell. Once they can successfully walk with the frogs on a paddle, they will make them hop!

Hello CSD families! Remember that tomorrow, Monday, April 5th, begins our blended learning schedule for all students in the district: Monday, April 5th-Asynchronous Learning Day (Independent At-Home), All students log on to Zoom at 10 am for a class meeting with their teachers (Period 3 at Middle Schools) Tuesday, April 6th-Students in grades TK-6 who have chosen in person learning report to campus for their assigned AM/PM sessions. Distance Learning students attend online classes for their assigned AM/PM sessions. Tuesday, April 13th-Students in grades 7-8 who have chosen in-person learning report to campus for their assigned AM/PM sessions.
