Mission Statement

Cucamonga Middle School Library strives to create a library that is designed to be a welcoming environment that provides a place where students and staff find a collection of print and electronic material to enhance teaching, learning and create excited readers!

Welcome to the CMS Literacy & Technology Center! 

CMS Library is literally the center of the school!  Students can come in to finish your work, read a book, or chat quietly with your friends. 

How to check a book out?

Students may have up to 3 books checked out at any time, as long as they do not have any overdue or owe any fines.  Students will need bring their ID cards to check out books.  Books are checked out for a two week period; however, students may renew the book as often as needed, as long as no else is in need of the book they have.

We also have e-books that you can check out anytime.

Students can log into our library (see the link on the upper right-hand corner of this page – DESTINY LIBRARY SYSTEM.)  Click the link and log in—HOW DO YOU LOG IN?  The log in and password are the same ones your student uses to log into their computer.  Their login name is their 6-digit number and the password is their 5-digit number.  (If this don’t work please send an email to Jessie Perrette )  Once in, scroll down to e-books.  There is a checkout limit of one e-book per person. 

Reading Rocks Café Book Club?

Since 2000 our Book Club has held meetings twice a month to discuss books.  This Club is held at lunch time.  It’s open to any eligible student who loves to read or just wants to know about books they might like!  Books vary from suspense to historical fiction or maybe science fiction, romance and comedy!  If you would like more info on this club, make sure you stop into the Cougar Den!
